Recent conversations I somehow seem to remember. Well of course I remember them, they haunt my dreams at night.
Aaron.L: Now I know why you don't have a boyfriend. Me: Excuse me? Aaron.L: I
don't know which guy on earth is able to keep up with your busy
schedule. Heck, i should feel honored that you agreed to meet me today. Me: EH wtf stoppit, that's rubbish ok. Aaron.L: It's true! And i thought *i* was the social butterfly, until I saw you in action last Thursday at Laundry. Me:
and with Hansen, whose job revolves very much around PR,
"I'm the one doing the PR, but it seems like you're doing way more PR than me."
*defeated*
There seems to be this consistent joke going around that in order for
people to meet up with me I need to be booked days in advance. WHAT RUBBISH. But highly amusing :p
I think it started with Brian. Always had something to say about me
and my little black book, with which I pen in all my appointments
into. Which then evolved to my BIG black book.
And then someone 'booked' me one week in advance, when of course I was free. "Finally! See Thia, must book you one week in advance."
Then Jiameei too. WHAT NONSENSE, NO APPOINTMENTS NEEDED FOR YOU <3
A lot lah, the little little remarks I've been getting. And I always nudge them and give my apologetic smile, but sometimes I do wonder. What the heck am I so busy with? I don't excatly know, just meeting people, meeting friends,
meeting customers, meeting him, classes, parties, random odd-jobs,
dance rehearsals, necessary errands to run..... I don't know. Just a lot of running around here there nowhere really.
But I'll admit, I love being busy :) Love the buzz of working within a tight schedule.
And hey, I won't be busy forever, right? I find it a privilege to be absolutely swamped with work sometimes. Sometimes.

Brought me mates along this time, to make the Groupie group even bigger, heh :)
Kevin and Alda front and centre.
Now, I reckon I've been to most of their gigs ever since Kevin got back from Melb, But this show at Laundry was definitely something else. At the risk of sounding like a deranged fan, I'd have to say their performance that night was pretty bloody amazing. I dunno, it was as if all the members of Brokenscar was high on something that night, their energy level was insane! Really glad I brought my friends to watch them this round, everyone was having fun ;)
And of course Alda bassist extraordinaire / attention whore had to be so playful that night, running all over the stage and finally settling on top of the speakers, right where the video camera was Caught a nice view of his bum throughout the night, blown up on the big screen
They played a few of their classics like Scratch and Down, and a few other newer ones which was surprisingly good even at first listen! Shooting Star took me a couple of listens to love, but now it's definitely one of my favourites. And Alda's alltime favourite, heh

I haven't hung out at Laundry for the longest time prior to this. And that night - to my surprise - EVERYBODY was there. Didn't think many people (that i know) still go to Laundry that often, but maybe it's for the Moonshine event. I thought my group of friends was big, then I run around a bit more and I bump into every-fricking-body I haven't seen in a long time, so quickquick catch up sessions Felt horrible for leaving my friends at the table for so long, though. Some new friends there too. And before I knew it, it was late and they all wanted to leave for some late night grub. Kerabu, to be precise. Man, I have to go back there (to some mamak at Kota D'sara) for their super special spicy damn yummy kerabu
